Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know to choose the right room.
Which rooms have a view of the Duomo?
Our Dome View rooms are: Deluxe room 40, face to face with Brunelleschi’s Dome; the Exclusive rooms with balcony (31, 32, 33); the Superior rooms 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 37 and 44; and the Classic rooms 38 and 39. Not all rooms have a Cathedral view, so choose a Dome View room when you book.
Which rooms have a balcony?
The Exclusive double rooms 31 and 33 and the Exclusive single room 32 have a private balcony with a direct view of the Dome. The Superior rooms 34 and 41 and the Superior single room 36 have a balcony with a partial Dome view.
Do you have rooms for three people or families?
Yes. The Superior rooms 23 and 37 face the Duomo and can be booked as triple rooms or as doubles. Children up to 8 years old stay free in their parents’ bed, and children up to 5 stay free in a crib, available on request.
Which rooms are the quietest?
The Classic rooms 21, 28, 30, 35 and 42 and the Smart single room 29 face the inner courtyard, away from the square: a good choice if you prefer silence and a lower rate.
What is included in the room?
Every room has free high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating, bed linen, towels, soap and shampoo dispensers, and daily cleaning. Breakfast is included only if you book a rate with breakfast.
Are the rooms accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
The reception on the 4th floor is reached by lift, but rooms are on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors, connected by internal staircases of 19 steps. Because the building is a historic landmark, we have no rooms adapted for guests with disabilities. Our staff will help with your luggage.
