Hotel Duomo Firenze is at Piazza del Duomo 1, facing the Cathedral. The square is a pedestrian area, so cars and taxis stop a short walk away. The entrance is at number 1 on the square: the entrance hall leads to the lift that takes you up to reception, on the 4th floor. The hotel occupies the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of the building.

From Santa Maria Novella train station
About 10 minutes on foot (around 700 m), on flat paved streets: from the station follow Via de’ Panzani and then Via de’ Cerretani, which lead straight to the Baptistery and the Cathedral. A taxi from the station rank takes a few minutes but cannot stop directly in the square.
From Florence Airport (FLR, Peretola)
- Tram T2:from the stop outside the terminal to the Unità stop, in front of Santa Maria Novella station, in about 20 minutes; then walk as above. A single ticket costs about €1.70: buy it at the machines at the stop and validate it on board.
- Taxi:about 15–20 minutes. Taxis from the airport charge a regulated flat fare to the historic centre, with supplements at night, on Sundays and on holidays; check the current fare at the taxi rank.
- Private car with driver:the hotel can arrange it on request.
From Pisa Airport (PSA)
Take the PisaMover shuttle to Pisa Centrale station, then a regional train to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (about one hour). From the station, walk as above. The hotel can also arrange a private transfer on request.
By car
The whole historic centre is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), monitored by cameras. Before you arrive, send us your licence plate number so that it is registered for access to the ZTL: if you park at our partner garage, the garage registers it; otherwise, we do. The nearest place to leave the car is our partner Garage Michelangelo, Via Ricasoli 28, 50122 Florence, about 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel: €35 per 24 hours for cars up to 4.5 m long.
