Every morning from 7:30 to 10:00 AM we serve a generous sweet and savory buffet breakfast in the shadow of Brunelleschi's Dome, with fresh, high-quality products, homemade cakes baked by our staff and real Italian espresso and cappuccino made at the bar.
What’s on the breakfast buffet
Breakfast is served buffet-style every day from 7:30 to 10:00 AM. Our staff prepares cappuccino and authentic Italian espresso with a professional espresso machine, not automatic coffee dispensers.
- Drinks:espresso, cappuccino, American coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot and cold milk, orange and ACE juice.
- Savory:whole PDO Parma ham sliced fresh from the bone, Pecorino di Grotta cheese, cooked ham, Italian salami, fresh mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, Philadelphia cream cheese and hard-boiled eggs.
- Bread:freshly baked bread, white and whole-wheat toast, crispbread, butter, jams, honey, Nutella and pistachio cream.
- Sweet:plain and whole-grain croissants, vanilla and chocolate muffins, mini krapfen, custard tarts, yogurt plumcake, cookies and homemade cakes baked by our staff.
- Healthy choices:natural, low-fat and flavored yogurts (8 flavors), corn flakes, muesli, seasonal fresh fruit and 12 kinds of nuts and seeds.
- Our specialties:a pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes in minutes, served with maple syrup, and a whole natural honeycomb, served just as it comes from the hive.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is included when you book a rate with breakfast, or you can add it for €12 per person when you book online on our official website (€15 per person if requested at check-in).
Free drinks and snacks
Mineral water, American coffee, tea, biscuits and a kettle for hot water are available free of charge in the breakfast room 24 hours a day. From 12:00 PM, our bar corner also offers herbal teas, small pastries and Vin Santo with almond cantucci. The bar is open every day from 12:00 to 10:00 PM.

Yes. Mineral water, American coffee, tea, biscuits and a kettle are free in the breakfast room 24 hours a day. From 12:00 PM our free refreshment corner also offers herbal teas, small pastries, cantucci with Vin Santo and our homemade artisan gelato. The bar is open every day from 12:00 to 10:00 PM.
Is the breakfast room open all year?
The breakfast room will be closed for renovation from January 7 to February 19, 2027. For stays in that period, please contact us before booking.
Can I have breakfast on the terrace?
Yes. In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast on our panoramic terrace, with a view of the Cathedral and Brunelleschi’s Dome.
